Today was our last day in Scotland. It had been our hopes to venture all over the place, but Bill's knees have taken a bit of a hit these last days, so we decided to keep our activity a little less strenuous. After our morning coffee and light breakfast, we wandered over to St. Giles' Cathedral to meet our tour guide. Raj led us back toward the castle with history and storytelling along the way. He shared a lot of helpful information.
After our tour was over, we explored other parts of the castle before returning to our Airbnb to begin getting organized for our trip home. We all went to a nearby pub called Footlights, for supper. Bill and I had really enjoyed our meal there the other night, so we recommended we eat there for our last meal. Having our last dinner here has been a little bittersweet. We have accomplished a major goal here, and hope that our hike won't be our last. We are up early tomorrow to head to the airport for our 12:05pm flight. 🏴🤍💙
