Pool Time Fun

Having our own private pool while in this warm climate was a special treat.  The back yard surrounded the pool deck with a variety of palms and other folliage to create a very private and tranquil setting.  The pool ranged in depth from a couple feet to about five feet deep at the far end, plenty deep enough for some pool time fun!

We were planning to take in a snorkel trip at some point during this vacation, and the pool offered the perfect opportunity to try out our gear and get Bill going on his own.  We were all pumped to see how quickly he was swimming laps back and forth in the pool!  Here are some pictures that Bob took with their underwater camera.

In celebration of the events of today, we went for an awesome lunch at Ak-bol.  This little restaurant was just down the beach from us.  Although I didn't take advantage of it, they offer yoga classes twice a day from Monday to Friday on out their pier.

See my post about Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley for more on our snorkelling experience.

After our fourth day, our pool boy, Jerver, showed us how to get the fountain feature running, too!

On our last day, we aimed to take best advantage of our pool time.

This is our wonderful pool boy, Jerver.
